Delete your Wasfat account

You can delete your Wasfat account and your personal data at any time. Wasfat is published by Wasfat International Company.

In the app

  1. Open the Wasfat app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile, then Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

Email privacy@wasfat.com with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email address linked to your account, or include the phone number you signed up with.

We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What we delete

  • Your profile: name, email, phone number, photo and settings
  • Recipes, photos, videos and comments you posted
  • Your likes, favorites, follows, recent searches and reports
  • Your recipe views and taps on partner links
  • Photos and videos you posted are removed from the app immediately. The files are deleted from our storage within 90 days.

What we keep

  • Order and commission records of other users that refer to you as a chef. These are kept without your name or any link to your account.
  • Server security logs, which include IP addresses, for up to 30 days.
  • Backups, for up to 90 days. After that they are deleted.
